COURSE HOURS

The course is open every day from sunrise to sunset 365 days a year and is free to play.
 
All you need to bring is one disc per player and discs can be purchased on-island at The Sunken Ship.
 
When you arrive, grab a scorecard & pencil at the information kiosk, head to the first tee and enjoy your round!

Getting to Nantucket

Flights

There are year-round flights to Nantucket from Boston, Hyannis, New Bedford, and Martha's Vineyard, and seasonal flights from New York, Newark, Charlotte, Washington D.C. and Providence.

Ferries

There are also ferries from Hyannis, MA that can take you to Nantucket year-round.

  • Steamship Authority Ferries (Hyannis <-> Nantucket)

    - High-Speed (1 hour)
       Passengers $36.50 one-way, $69 round-trip
       Bicycles $7 one-way, $14 round-trip

    - Traditional (2 hours & 15 minutes)
       Passengers $18.50 one-way, $37 round-trip
       Bicycles $7 one-way, $14 round-trip
       Vehicles (summer): $250 one-way, $500 round trip

  • Hy-Line Ferries (Hyannis <-> Nantucket)

Getting around Nantucket

The course is located at 21 Lovers Lane, Nantucket, MA and is just over 2 miles from downtown & the ferry docks and about 1 mile from the Nantucket airport.

Rental Cars

Rental cars are available downtown, near the ferry docks, at Young's Bicycle Shop.  At the airport, there are multiple rental car agencies, including Hertz, Nantucket Island Rent-a-Car and Windmill Auto.

Taxis

Taxis are available year-round and there are taxi stands near the ferries and at the airport. To view a list of taxi companies on island, click here.

WAVE Bus

The seasonal WAVE Bus service will take you to/from the course for only $3 one-way.

  • Airport Route (~May-Sep)

    - Runs every 20 minutes from 10am-6pm
    - Picks
     
    up at the Steamship ferry terminal
    - Also picks up near the Hy-Line ferry at the Greenhound Bus Terminal at 10 Washington St
    - Drops off at the Lovers Lane stop, which is just 1/4 mile from the course
    - Approximately 15 minutes

    You can also take this route from the airport to the course and this trip is about 6 minutes.

  • Sconset via Old South Road Route (Year-round)

    - Runs a quarter after the hour from 7:15am-11:15pm
    - Leaves downtown from the Greenhound Bus Terminal at 10 Washington St
    - Drops off at the Lovers Lane stop (1/4 mile from the course)
    - Approximately 15 minutes

The Transloc Rider app (iPhone & Android) will show you the real-time location of the WAVE buses and allow you to accurately plan your arrival at the bus stops.

Biking/Walking
From Downtown, take Main Street to a left on Orange St., then 1 mile to the Rotary. Then take Old South Rd 3/4 mile to Lovers Lane. Take the convenient walking path in the State Forest that parallels Lovers Lane 1/4 miles south to the course parking lot/hole #1. It's about a 40 minute walk/15 minute bike ride from town to the course.

From the Airport, take a right onto Airport Rd, about 500 feet to a left on Old South Road, and then 3/4 mile to Lovers Lane. Take the convenient walking path in the State Forest that parallels Lovers Lane 1/4 miles south to the course parking lot/hole #1. It's about a 20 minute walk/6 minute bike ride from the airport to the course.
