Hello NDG Friends!

We started limbing work on hole one this past week and made some good progress.  Hopefully we'll knock out a couple more holes this week and keep on schedule for completion of this work by the time the designer returns in mid to late July.

This week, NDG workdays will be:
Thursday at 5pm

(Note: Keep an eye out on our Facebook page during the next two weeks for updates regarding the work day schedule, as I will be off-island during this time and the schedule is a bit up in the air at this point.)

Hope to see ya out there tomorrow!

Hello NDG Friends!

As I mentioned last week, our designer John Houck was in town the last couple of days and we got a LOT done.  John seemed quite impressed with our work on the north 8 holes.  He marked a few more (dead) trees for removal, sculpted the fairways a bit, and gave us some good instructions regarding limbing up the trees on the fairways.  John's plan is to come back in a month or so and mark the teepads and baskets so that we can install them soon thereafter.

Also, I wanted to announce to everyone who hasn't seen it yet, that we recently redesigned our website, and if I may say so myself, I think it looks great...you can check it out at http://www.nantucketdiscgolf.org. My thanks to Noah Learner at Learner Design for all his hard work putting it all together.

This week, NDG workdays will be, as always:

Thursday at 5pm

Sunday at 1pm

Hope to see ya out there tomorrow!

Hello NDG Friends!

If I'm not mistaken, all the dead trees originally marked for removal are down and cut up on the north side. Great work, everyone.

This week, NDG workdays will be, as always:
Thursday at 5pm
Sunday at 1pm

As mentioned last week, John Houck, our designer will be arriving at the beginning of next week to put the finishing touches on the north side. Very exciting.

Also, I ordered the baskets. Unfortunately the application of the cottage red custom coloring means that we won't get them for 4-6 weeks, but I can assure you that once we get them, we'll begin putting a few of them in on the north side shortly thereafter.

Hope to see ya Thursday!
