3-Hole Cowbell Razz Round Playoff
Following the Pro tournament on Saturday, we will, as always, be holding the infamous and exciting winner-take-all 3-Hole Cowbell Razz Round Playoff.

The Top 4 Pros in the tournament will participate in the Razz Round and will select their caddies from the Pros who finish 5th-8th in the tournament. The player/caddie teams will be designated as the Red Team, the Blue Team, the Green Team and the Yellow Team and each caddy will be given a colored vest that will correspond with his/her team's designated color.

The Razz Round participants will play holes 16, 17 and 18 (and as many sudden death holes as possible to break any potential ties). The winner of the Razz Round will collect $1000 and the caddie for the winner will receive $100.

Before the Razz Round begins, spectators will choose which colored team they want to support and will be given a red, blue, green or yellow wristband and cowbell that will correspond with the team they are supporting. Spectators of the winning team can turn in their wristband after the round is over to collect a free disc as a prize!

Spectators will have an opportunity, DURING PLAY, to yell, ring their cowbell and distract, to their heart's content, those players who they are not rooting for. The only rule here is that spectators may not place themselves in line of sight of a shot and may not physically distract players in any way. Other than that, anything and everything goes.

Needless to say, you need to stick around for this exciting playoff if you can, if for no other reason than to try to win yourself the free disc!

2017 USADGC Qualifier
The 2016 Nantucket Disc Golf Open is a 2017 United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship Qualifying Event.

Who is eligible?
- All Advanced (MA1) players in the 2016 NDG Open will be automatically entered into qualifying for the 2017 United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship, held in Milford, Michigan in the early summer of 2017 (specific date tbd).

How it works:
- Players finishing in the top 15% (rounded up) of the MA1 division will receive invitations to play in the 2016 USADGC, a PDGA Major event.
- If there is a tie for the final spot, all tied players will receive an invite to the USADGC.
- If a player has already qualified for the USADGC, he is used as a "spoiler" and his final position counts as one of the qualifiers in your event.

For more information on the USADGC, check out http://www.usadgc.com

For those coming over to Nantucket the morning of the tournament, please be aware that the ONLY ferry that will get you to the island in time for the tournament on either day is the 6:15 AM Hy-Line High-Speed Ferry. Free transportation to the course via private vehicles will be provided to those arriving on Nantucket on this ferry at 7:15 AM on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

For those wishing to bring their vehicle with them to Nantucket, please be aware that this is, unfortunately, very costly and difficult to do. To start, the Steamship Authority traditional ferry is the only ferry that can accommodate passengers with vehicles. The cost to bring a vehicle to the island on this ferry is $400 round-trip during September and vehicle availability for weekends in September is usually very limited, unless booked well in advance. All this said, we encourage those coming over to the tournament to leave their vehicles at the ferry lots in Hyannis and take either public transportation to the course/James Williams Compound/campsite or the tournament-provided free transportation from the Hy-Line ferry terminal to the course on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

You can also check on prices and availability for many Bed & Breakfasts at http://nantucketlodging.org. Finally, booking a home on VRBO for a group might also be a relatively economical option.
