Note: If you win cash or a prize and need to leave before the awards, you may see a TD to collect it at the end of the 2nd round
MPO, FPO, MPM, MA1, & FA1 will play from the long tees in the morning and the afternoon.
MPG, MM1, MG1, & MA2 play from the long tees in the morning & the short tees in the afternoon.
FA2 & Rec will play from the short tees in both rounds.
CTP/Ring of Fire/other contests at lunch to raise money for EDGE. Bring singles!
Saturday pro clinic and casual random doubles round. Stay tuned for details.

Payouts
Pros: 100% cash payout within each division + $500 added cash to overall Pro purse
Ams: Merchandise &/or funny money (gift certificates)
Payouts will be based on current PDGA recommendations
Hole Sponsorships
Just $10 and you get to choose your starting hole for first round. Only one sponsorship per hole please, as PDGA rules prohibit players from choosing who they play with. Players meeting will be at hole #16, so holes that will be close will be 1, 2, 6, 14, 16 & 17. When registering, please include the $10 for the sponsorship and indicate which hole you would like to start on.

Transportation to/from Nantucket
For those traveling over on the morning of the tournament, the 6:30am Hy-Line Fast Ferry (from Hyannis) is the only ferry that will get you to Nantucket in time for the tournament. We will be picking up players from the docks when that boat arrives at 7:30am and taking them to the course. Transportation back to the docks after the tournament will also be provided. There are fast ferries returning to Hyannis that evening at 6pm (S), 7:20pm (H), 8:30pm (S) & 10pm (H) and slow ferries returning at 5:30pm (S), 8:20pm (H) & 9pm (S).

VERY LIMITED number of rooms are available the nights of Fri 6/28, Sat 6/29 & Sun 6/30 at the Nantucket Inn. Call 508-228-6900 no later than June 1 and mention Nantucket Disc Golf when making your reservation.
Camping (unfortunately) is not permitted anywhere on Nantucket.
Withdrawals and Refunds
Per PDGA Competition Manual: No refunds will be issued after the 7th day prior to the start of the event, but the player shall be sent a players package if one was provided to event competitors. Withdrawals made before the 7th day prior to the start of the event shall receive a 50% refund. Withdrawals made 14 days prior to the start of the event shall be refunded 100%, less postage and handling, which shall not exceed 10% of the entry fee.
2013 NDG Bag Tag Design Contest

NDG announces the 2013 NDG Bag Tag Design Contest
- Design is for a 3"(W) x 4" (H) bag tag, similar to the 2012 NDG Bag Tags (see photo).
- Design is for front of tag. Rules will be listed on the back.
- Design must include room for large numbers (tags will be numbered 1-100).
- Similar to our 2012 tags, this year's tags will be 5 different colors
based on the number (1-20 will be red, 21-40 will be orange, etc), so
design must allow for the tags to be printed in these different colors.
- Design must be fully completed and ready for print.
- Winner receives a $50 Sunken Ship Gift Certificate. All others submitting entries will receive consolation prizes.
- Send entries to info@nantucketdiscgolf.org. Deadline to enter is Sun, May 12.
Our hope is to have the tags sent to the printer immediately after the
winner is chosen and have the tags in hand and available for sale by
June 1 at the latest.

1st Annual Nantucket Disc Golf Open - June 30, 2013

Nantucket Disc Golf proudly announces the 1st Annual Nantucket Disc Golf Open which will be held Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Nantucket Disc Golf Course.
The tournament will be NEFA- and PDGA-sanctioned and there will be
multiple male and female divisions spanning all age & skill levels.
The tournament will consist of 2 rounds of 18 holes, and the entry
fee will range from $50 for Open (Pro) to $25 for Recreational
(a $10 fee will be added for all PDGA non-members & this fee goes
directly to the PDGA). The entry fee includes lunch and player packs
(for amateurs), and there will be cash prizes for pros and some amazing
merchandise prizes for amateurs. Merchandise will also be awarded to
the winners of our lunchtime long drive, closest to the pin, and putting
contests.
We are hoping to make this an amazing disc golf
weekend that will include, on Saturday, a pro clinic, an afternoon
doubles tourney and a pre-tournament dinner/party.
Affordable
lodging at the Nantucket Hostel for the entire weekend has been reserved
and will be available for (a limited number of) our off-island guests.
We are also working to confirm other affordable lodging options.
There will be 72 spots and online registration will be available.
